May 17, 1997 - Railfan Days brought all sorts of people out of the woodwork to shoot the RS3's #4116 & #605 on different trains planned on the Batten Kill. Unfortunately, rain and overcast skies put a damper to the enthusiasm of many, including the diehard Alco buffs. |

BKRR #4116 had the honors of running the Batten Kill Rambler excursion train on October 4 ,1998. It wasn't uncommon to see one Alco running trains, while the other lingered in the shops for repairs. |
