Maryland Midland Railroad

My first chase of the MMID yielded this 4-unit lashup and 60+ cars (mostly new cement hoppers being delivered) descending the Catoctin Mountains at Thurmont in 2003.

Light power from Woodsboro is returning from the quarry after working a UBST in 2004.
GP9 #202 is parked on the west end of some cars in Union Bridge Yard on August 24, 2005.
A pair of MMID geeps pulls a short UBHF upgrade at Thurmont, MD on April 13, 2006.
The same train 6 days later (April 19, 2006) warranted a 3rd unit with a much heavier train.
After backing their outbounds off on the siding in Highfield, MD, the crew waits on a CSXT eastbound from Hagerstown.
