The Ohio Central System is one of two major regional conglomerates in the Buckeye State (the other being RailAmerica's Indiana & Ohio family). They serve a diverse variety of industry on over 500 miles of railroad across east-central Ohio. Their operations include the following:

1. NBT crew will usually taxi to East Columbus, recrew NPT & take the NBT west to NS Buckeye Yard. Upon return east, they'll double inbound NPT and return to Newark is time allows.
