The Sandersville Railroad (SAN) is a short, but BUSY shortline company in central Georgia. Their venerable fleet of EMD switchers rule the roost between Tennille and Kaolin, GA almost daily. From observations on two separate occasions, they run 3 trains during the day Monday through Friday. On Saturday, they run one train during the day to serve area kaolin processing plants.
